Course overview
This course is aimed at Electricians who have already obtained relevant electrical competence qualifications, who wish to upskill further and gain a recognised, formal qualification in the installation of electrical energy storage systems.

This intensive course includes all the knowledge to enable you to develop the skills required to safely and competently install electrical energy storage systems.

Entry requirements
This qualification is for practising electricians. Learners must hold one of the following:
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment)
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance)
Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services Experienced Worker
Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services
Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification
Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings
Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings Experienced Worker Qualification
Level 3 EAL Building Services Engineering
Electrotechnical Installation
ECS Gold Card for a Domestic Electrician, JIB Electrician, or Approved Electrician Card
How will my progress be monitored?
During the course, you will be monitored and feedback will be provided as required. After the course, you will need to complete a half-day assessment.
How will I be assessed?
You will have one online exam and one practical assessment.
