The Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems is specifically aimed at existing practicing electricians, electrical technicians and engineers with experience of electrical installations and associated inspection and testing and giving them the necessary training to upskill their existing skills to install Electrical Energy Storage System (EESS).
The objective of this course is for learners to demonstrate they know and understand the requirements for installing EESS.
This regulated qualification is for those wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the design, installation and commissioning of EESS.
The qualification has been designed in conjunction with the latest IET Code of Practice and is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
This qualification has been updated to BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 (2022) and current industry requirements. You will learn about the preparation, design, installation, testing and handover of electrical energy storage systems.

Our courses will prepare you for these challenges.

This qualification is aimed at electricians working within domestic and/or non-domestic premises and they shall hold as a minimum:
Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 (current edition) and
Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations or a combined award including Periodic Inspection & Testing
