It’s ideal for anyone in construction, housing, planning, or those simply interested in sustainable development.

All units in this qualification are mandatory and provide a comprehensive foundation in retrofit, covering:

Why retrofit matters: understand the importance of retrofit in environmental sustainability
What is retrofit: learn the key principles, standards and regulations
Explore the roles involved in retrofit projects
Find out about the sustainable materials used
By completing this course, you’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and resources to confidently enter or advance within the retrofit industry, equipped to make a meaningful impact on environmental sustainability.

This course is for people aged 19 or over.

There are no formal entry requirements for learners undertaking this qualification, although it is ideal for those who are interested in working in the retrofit industry and those already in the retrofit industry.
