Retrofit Electrical Green Skills Bundle
This Green Skills Bundle is designed for practicing electricians looking to upskill in the installation of in-demand green technologies. The course covers three key qualifications: Photovoltaic (solar) system installation, Electrical energy storage system design, and Car charging point installation. By completing all three courses in sequence, you’ll gain formal qualifications recognised by industry accreditation schemes.

Is it for me?
This course is aimed at competent Electricians who have already obtained relevant electrical competence qualifications, and who wish to upskill further and gain recognised formal qualifications in the installation and commissioning of green technologies.
Course overview
This course is a bundle of the separately available qualifications covering Photovoltaic systems installation, Electrical energy storage systems design, The installation of car charging points.
It offers a saving over purchasing the qualifications separately but does require the individual to commit to undertaking all three courses sequentially.
What will I do?
This course is for practising Electricians and will allow you to develop knowledge and skills in a range of in-demand green skills, obtaining formal recognition required by industry accreditation schemes.
The qualifications include:
Level 3 award in the installation of small scale photovoltaic systems
Level 3 award in the design, installations and commissioning of Electrical energy Storage Systems
Level 3 award in the requirements for the installation of electric vehicle charging points
What’s next?
After completing this course you will have the knowledge and skills to install and commission a variety of green technologies.
Entry requirements
This qualification is for practising electricians. Learners must hold one of the following:
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment)
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance)
Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services Experienced Worker
Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services
Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification
Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings
Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings Experienced Worker Qualification
Level 3 EAL Building Services Engineering
Electrotechnical Installation
ECS Gold Card for a Domestic Electrician, JIB Electrician, or Approved Electrician Card
How will my progress be monitored?
This course is taught over several days, where your progress will be continuously monitored with feedback provided as required.
After completing the course you will then have a variety of assessments.
How will I be assessed?
Each qualification includes online assessments to show knowledge, understanding, and practical assessments to evidence competence.
