Course Overview
This course combines both theory and practice and will run over three days. There will be multiple start dates throughout the academic year.

Course Requirements
You will need a minimum Level 2 plumbing or gas qualification or equivalent trade experience and both an energy efficiency certificate and a water regulations certificate

What You Will Learn
You will learn about the types of ground source heat pumps available including borehole, shallow collector and water collector. You will learn about the efficiency, sizing and positioning of systems and how to install them

Assessment
You will be assessed through several multiple-choice papers and complete a practical assessment on custom built test rigs
