About the course
This one day course is ideal for plumbers who are qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 and requiring an understanding of water regulations and water byelaws. In particular, it is ideal for those wishing to become approved plumbers and contractors in the plumbing, water or construction industry.
This course covers the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England and Wales) and the Water Byelaws 2014 (Scotland) and meets the requirements of WRAS (the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) of which the majority of the UK water companies are members.
The course is flexible to meet the needs of your employees
Entry Requirements
Delegates must have an NVQ Level 2 qualification or hold 5 years’ experience working in a relevant industry.
Assessment
On this course you will be assessed via a written paper and a practical assessment.
Careers & Progression
Completion of this course will allow you to meet the requirements of your employer. It can also be completed as additional commercial qualification on an apprenticeship programme. This qualification is a mandatory requirement for employment with the national water suppliers and United Utilities.
