This course is suitable for all plumbers and heating engineers looking to gain the knowledge and skills required to deal with unvented hot water systems and cylinders.
Course description & subjects covered
This qualification is a must for plumbers and heating engineers, allowing you to install, commission, and service unvented hot water systems and cylinders.
The course is also often a prerequisite for heat pump courses, as cylinders make their way back into everyday households.
Learners can select from the following awarding bodies: Cert-ain or BPEC.
Assessment
This course is assessed through theory examinations and a practical assessment. The pass-rate for this course is 100% - operatives are allowed up to 3 attempts.
Entry requirements
Learners must hold at least one of the following:
ACS
OFTEC
N/SVQ Level 2/3 in plumbing (or equivalent)
N/SVQ Level 2/3 in heating & ventilating (or equivalent
