This course is designed to assess and confirm an installers skills, knowledge, and competence to work to industry, health & safety, and compliance standards, including PAS 2035 and Building Regulations.

Entry Criteria
This course is suitable for both experienced installers seeking formal recognition, for those who have developed skills on the job but require a qualification to meet accreditation or funding requirements, or for completely new entrants.

Topics Covered
Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace

Conforming to productive working Practices in the workplace

Insulation and building treatments, building construction, defects and interfaces

Moving, handling and storing resources in the workplace

Installing insulation to suspended floors in the workplace

Assessment
A summative assessment observed by a qualified Green Skills Tutor once all on programme elements have been completed.

Knowledge questions

Evidence gathering such as RAMS and other site management documents

Witness testimonies, certified by a colleague or line manager

Video evidence of active work/installations

There are also additional units that can be taken as part of this qualification. Credit from these units will be included on the certificate but will not count towards this qualification.
