Entry Requirements
Trainees should hold a Level 3 in Electrical Installations at Level 3 along with BS 7671: 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) and Inspection and Testing.
Candidate may hold an older but equivalent qualification.
Candidate may hold an ECS Gold Card (for domestic electrician), JIB Electrician (Not PAT tester only) or Approved Electrician Card.

Stand-alone technical certificates/vocationally related qualifications (VRQ) (non-competency based) are NOT acceptable.

The EESS course is specifically aimed at existing practicing electricians, electrical technicians, and engineers with experience of electrical installations, and associated inspection and testing and giving them the necessary training to upskill their existing skills to install EESS.

The course price includes assessment and certification and is VAT exempt.

The objective of this course is for learners to demonstrate they know and understand the requirements for installing EESS. The learner will know the health and safety risks and regulations and standards relating to the installation, testing, and certification/handover of EESS systems.
