COURSE OVERVIEW
The training and assessment have been designed to provide the necessary skills for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, servicing and fault-finding of ground and air source heat pump systems in accordance with the latest NOS/QCF criteria and MCS scheme requirements. Low-carbon heat pumps are critical technologies for decarbonising heat.
To meet the UK’s legally-binding climate targets, thousands more heating engineers will need to learn to install and maintain these technologies.
Who can apply
The course is ideal for experienced plumbing and heating engineers looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of heat pumps with a view to applying for Competent Person/MCS/Green Deal registration.
Candidates applying for this course should also hold the following qualifications: NVQ Level 2 plumbing or H&V (domestic) or equivalent A certificate of competence for the installation of unvented hot water systems WRAS approved Water Regulations qualification

You will receive an NICEIC Certificate, validated for 5 years.
